What you need to know about the role-

You will be responsible for designing and developing the platform architected for scale, which is capable of supporting FP&A teams with their forecasting needs for all Key financials KPIs

Meet our team

You will be part of the FP&A Team, primarily focusing on the Key financial KPIs baseline forecasting process for PP Inc. You will work alongside the brightest Data science talent, solving interesting problems on scalability using the latest Machine learning techniques.

Your day to day

In your day to day role you will be a Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist

• Lead the design, analysis, and interpretation of projects from data requirement gathering to data processing, modeling, and recommendations for various departments across the company.
• Build and implement predictive models using machine learning algorithms.
• Use advanced analytical and statistical techniques to extract insights from data and identify patterns and trends.
• This role is often required to work in a team environment and be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product managers, data engineers and stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through data visualization and clear, concise reporting
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of models over time
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field and incorporate new technologies and techniques as appropriate

What do you need to bring-

• 4+ years of experience building data analytics and science projects
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python or R
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management
• Proficiency with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
• Experience with big data technologies, such as Apache Hadoop or Apache Spark is a plus
• Experience with data visualization tools is a plus
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure is a plus
• Strong understanding of business domain and ability to apply data-driven solutions to real-world problems is a plus
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience collaborating with business users to define the key business requirements and translate them into process/technical solutions
• Experience in Unix based development environment is a plus
• Experience using industry standard software development tools like Github (IDE / Version Control / Continuous Integration)
• Expertise in online payments and related domains is a plus
